The Invite

Hikers,

Anyone who wants to view one of the most scenic areas in the world, come join us. Any & all...so feel free to invite anyone else not on the list. Staci and Tommy will be going R3 which is going to rank as one of the dumbest things we have ever done. Possibly R3 will out rank paying $20 to bungee jump in Mexico. R3 is dangerous and as Staci mentioned, is an extreme hike with a lot of dangers while your body is stressed beyond comprehension. These dangers include twisting an ankle or possibly getting snake bit (rare). Much training is necessary. Much money is needed if you need a helicopter ticket out of the canyon. Wait....Obamacare will make that free.

If R3 is not for you, I encourage you to come anyway for a couple day hikes at your pace and at your physical fitness level. R2 is another option for you as Tom Sr. will be meeting us at the North Rim via rental car. If you want to do short hikes, you have an option to hit part of the South Rim then hitch a ride to catch a bit of the North Rim. Lot's of options and you are free to choose.
